You can see it in Disk Utility in Recovery mode. If you go looking in terminal you can see the partition (showing no name as you will see below) and can even manually mount it. Also the shutdown/reboot hangs completely so you have to hold in the power button. If you run Disk Utility it hangs an never shows any drives. At boot the loading line gets about 2/3 of the way across hangs then will finally complete, once logged in the Bootcamp partition is not in finder. My Bootcamp partition started last week not showing in macOS after working fine.
